Our Nutwood comes exclusively from America. Nutwood with sapwood inclusions is available as solid wood or veneer. Veneer pattern: board character. What makes this wood so special is the combination of the contrasting coloring and grains of heartwood and sapwood, both taken from the active, outer zone of a tree. The combination of these creates a beautiful and lively wood finish, so characteristic to nutwood. To preserve the natural character and achieve the brown color tone, the nutwood is treated with an equalising stain. &nbsp;This process homogenises the color nuances of the raw material and tones down the vivid sapwood inclusions.&nbsp; &nbsp;
